Our Localization Department are looking for the most prestigious members of our Poker Community to take it one step further; you now have the opportunity to join our Localization Department as a Translation and Localisation Consultant.The position in question will pay €20 (Euros) per hour and you will be required to work a minimum of 10 hours per week, also as a Consultant you will be working from home in your own free time. Requirements:
• Fluent in Portuguese, with a good command of English.
• Excellent command of professional writing for both Portuguese and English.
• Self Motivated, Flexible and easily Attainable.
• At least 1 year Poker Knowledge.
• 24 hour access to the internet from home.
• A minimum of 10 (flexible) hours per week available for Translation, Proof-reading and Consulting.
• Ability to check your email daily and frequently – Mon to Fri or contactable via MSN.Tasks:
• Translation and Proof Reading for the PokerStars Web Site, Client, News Letters, Promotions, Events and Banners.
• Inputting your own views to localizing the PokerStars Web Site and Client.Skills and Experience
• Strong knowledge of both online and brick-and-mortar poker (minimum 1 year of playing experience)
• Ideas on how to localize the Client and Web Site, e.g. best times to run tournaments, events and promotions which could be suitable for your country.Perks
• You will be paid 10 hours a week whether we have given you work to do or not.
• Flexible working hours
• If additional hours are worked, you will be paid at the rate of €20 (Euros) per hour.
• Having your own input/ideas used within the PokerStars Web Site and Client.
• Becoming part of the fastest growing and biggest online Poker Room.
• Fee’s can be paid directly to your PokerStars account, Neteller account or via Personal Cheque.
This position would suit someone who plays a lot of online poker or is at their computer routinely.
