Há quem olhe para as matrículas de carros e calcule odds, há quem conte horas substituíndo o 11 pelo Valete, o 12 pela Dama e o 13 pelo Rei. Mas no hospital? Foi isto que aconteceu esta madrugada, Cid talvez inquieto pela operação que o aguardava e não conseguindo repousar tinha uma decisão a tomar. O que fazer? Ver novelas? Conversar com os pacientes do lado? Ou num assombro de "lucidez" jogar poker?
Pois bem Alcídio Caesar Ferreira, El Cid, decidiu-se obviamente pela última opção. Enquanto esperava por uma operação ao ligamento que ia ter hoje, lembrou-se de, e já com os "colegas de quarto" a dormir, ligar o PC e bora lá destrocar umas fichas. Lembrou-se de o fazer na PartyPoker e em boa hora o fez. Inscreveu-se no $18K GTD com um buy-in de $50+$5 e entre 334 participantes atingiu a 2ª posição. Após 4 horas de jogo, um belo retorno de $2.781. Esperemos que dê para cobrir a conta do hospital, que isto não anda fácil para ninguém.
