O "EFEITO FERREIROVA ROLLERCOASTER"
Este tipo de efeito rollercoaster ou montanha russa traduz-se na variação da stack de certos jogadores em que as fichas se desmoronam tipo castelo de cartas ou torre de Babel. Frequentemente o jogador joga muitas mãos. Geralmente são inexperientes e não entendem a importância de escolher uma mão inicial. Os jogadores tendem a cair no velho ditado de que “duas cartas quaisquer podem ganhar”. Com freqüência verão o flop e muitas vezes igualarão até o river e inclusive mostrarão suas cartas ao terminar com mãos pobres. Esta classe de jogador confia muito na sorte do projeto, mas duvide dos jogadores fracos porque quando têm sorte (uma vez ou outra) podem conseguir que o jogador profissional mais hábil fique desnorteado.
Umas poucas pautas para jogar com um jogador fraco é realmente dar uma surra neles quando ache que tem a melhor mão. Quase com segurança igualarão no river assim que não tente bluffar demais, mas seja muito agressivo quando estiver no controle.

2009 PCA - Highlights
A record-breaking field of 1,798 players entered the 2009 event, generating a massive prize pool of $10,594,897. Não é o manel q vai às Bahamas...é a BBF!!!
O presidente "ordenou" uma declaração pública, pois então cá vai:
Pois é... e agora?
Acreditem ou não, tenho andado um bocado stressado com esta surreal situação q me caiu no colo, sem eu estar à espera! Não quero dizer com isso q n vou dar o meu melhor, e representar da melhor maneira q sei, esta tão nobre e amiga "foundation", da qual eu faço parte com muito orgulho! Apenas n vos quero desiludir, tendo consciência q este é um tipo de torneio ao qual, embora não esteja familiarizado, acho q pode favorecer e potenciar o meu "melhor poker". Se elas baterem de vez em quando pode ser q surta qq coisa! Caso contrário vai valer sempre pela experiência e oportunidade de poder participar num torneio desta grandeza! Sei q todos vão estar a puxar por mim, porque esse é o nosso lema, seja o manel, o bonanza, o paulo, o zé, o pico, o licas, o abreu, o margato, o zumy, a cristina, o cid, o ez and so on!
N posso deixar de agradecer aqui em público, tal qual fiz no site do poker nacional, às pessoas q estiveram comigo, entre conselhos, divergências, "destilts", risos, preocupações, q tudo fizeram para eu poder ir onde vou! Acreditem n vai ser o manel q vai jogar, somos todos nós!

DE CALÇÃO E HAVAIANA
É a loucura...foi a loucura total!
A malta "vai" à Caraíbas!
A malta? Isso é que era bom...para todos! Mas não. Vai só o Manel.
Desde as 20H00 que um conjunto vasto de completos chanfrados, o acompanhou no trabalho...disse bem, trabalho, que finalmente nos vai representar num enorme torneio de prest~igio mundial com um prémio de mais de um milhão de Euros para o vencedor. É "massa cumó caralho! Ó...Ó SE, SE, SE, ou seja, FODA-SE!
A lógica do Zé, as cautelas do Piconihgts, as loucuras do Luis primo e a tonteria do Bonanza, puseram em destaque aquilo a que eu chamaria, "os dons de quem torce pelo bicho"! Mas quem se destacou mais, e pela positiva, foi o vergas Paulo de Santa Clara a Velha que não parava de telefonar, dar boas orientações, tais como: 9/2 off? TODAS!!!!....3/3 no botão com dois raisers? SHOVE pr'acima deles sem medo...elas batem. E não é que as putinhas bateram? GRANNNNNNNNDE Presidente!
No Cidral a cervejola foi jorrando, o galão e a torrada acabaram por não aparecer e o sono acabou por não acontecer. ..pudera com um package de $14.300,mais comidos, bebidos, dormidos...e sabe-se lá mais o quê! Vai todo!
O gajo que faça all in! O gajo é burro ou quê? Aperta aí com os gajos que ele ganha o torneio, dizia sempre que telefonava!
Mas a certeza que a Ferreira, o Abreu, o Licas, a Viegas, Margato, o Gonçalo, o Sérginho, e eu próprio, mais velho mas sempre a torcer pelos mais novos, estamos também muitos satisfeitos.
De 5 a 10 de Janeiro é tudo a torcer pelo Manel.

Há quem olhe para as matrículas de carros e calcule odds, há quem conte horas substituíndo o 11 pelo Valete, o 12 pela Dama e o 13 pelo Rei. Mas no hospital? Foi isto que aconteceu esta madrugada, Cid talvez inquieto pela operação que o aguardava e não conseguindo repousar tinha uma decisão a tomar. O que fazer? Ver novelas? Conversar com os pacientes do lado? Ou num assombro de "lucidez" jogar poker?
Pois bem Alcídio Caesar Ferreira, El Cid, decidiu-se obviamente pela última opção. Enquanto esperava por uma operação ao ligamento que ia ter hoje, lembrou-se de, e já com os "colegas de quarto" a dormir, ligar o PC e bora lá destrocar umas fichas. Lembrou-se de o fazer na PartyPoker e em boa hora o fez. Inscreveu-se no $18K GTD com um buy-in de $50+$5 e entre 334 participantes atingiu a 2ª posição. Após 4 horas de jogo, um belo retorno de $2.781. Esperemos que dê para cobrir a conta do hospital, que isto não anda fácil para ninguém.
